This sentence “We Must Expect and Honor the Struggle” is extremely hard to digest. There is no doubt that we will have to face real struggles in order to radically advance our lives. Neither complaining nor failing to anticipate it is acceptable. It was once a virtue to strive through trials. Throughout our history, the struggle has been a cherished outcome of higher ambitions; it has been taught as the necessary effort of heroism and cultural advancement.
It has been the celebrated context in which we have proved ourselves, bettered ourselves, and realized ourselves. Through deep effort and hardship and frustration, we can expose and expel our weaknesses, transform our lives, attain our dreams, and advance as human beings. The struggle for honor was not pitied, but admired, remembered, and admired for mighty ends.
Taking charge of our destiny requires a mindset that makes us willing to learn, work, and grow. However, the vast majority of people dislike the struggle necessary to advance. It is too difficult, too uncomfortable, and too slow for them to reach independence and abundance. Success cannot be achieved if there isn’t a straight and fast route to it. It would take too long for people to go back to school. Exercise doesn’t work for them because the results take too long to show. Because they have long days and already long nights, they aren’t willing to fight for their dreams.
Increasingly, whole generations are shrinking their visions and limiting their endeavors, fearing the hardships of facing limitations, trying new things, and developing new skills. In the long run, this results in a staggeringly large segment of society being overweight, poorly educated, unemployed, and unhappy.
As if the real effort is avoided, the kind that involves long nights of frustration and prolonged learning. Inconveniences have become a good reason to slow down progress. In recent years, patience and persistence seem to have become a thing of the past for accomplishing anything worthwhile. Hope not, for reaching our potential and achieving freedom is only possible by advancing our lives.
Nobody will wake up tomorrow and say, “I don’t want to advance my life.” But at the end of the day, only our actions will reflect who we are and what we truly want. It is time for us to rise tomorrow with a mindset that is focused on progress. Come on, let’s be bold again. Any concern can be overcome by remembering that all we need is within, that fortune favors the brave, and that action alone will illuminate the way forward.
Strive for that which is meaningful to us, and let our convictions be so strong and pure that we advance with great leaps forward. The cause of advancement must be committed to for the sake of growth and giving. It is no longer necessary to wait for permission, proper timing, or easy access to advance rapidly in our lives. It’s time to go.
There is work to be done, influence to gain, service to render, power to share, and freedom to gain for those we love. We can achieve great things if we move forward. Right now. So let’s declare We Must Expect and Honor The Struggle.
